My focus over the past year has been to reconnect with the art within me. When you live near several well known museums there is always a new exhibit to enjoy; however I have also found art when taking an evening walk. On my blog post from February I said "Art for me is like breathing air, an injection of inspiration, focus, life." And I would add joy.
I have been blessed this year to be still and present next to the works of Van Gogh, Degas, Riveria, Picasso, Claudel, Rodin, Monet, Kusama, and Chagall and many more. Each visit is more than a visit to a gallery; all of your senses are engaged - that is the purpose and goal of #art.
And then there was Exposure! This is the blessing that keeps giving. Immersing myself in Esperanza Spalding's creative process, being part of the process, and reliving that moment with a community of liked minded people - one word #blessed.
From Pasadena to LA to Giverny to Auvers-Sur-Oise and Epernay to my hometown in Pennsylvania, and in my own living room; when you are open #ArtIsEverywhere.
