A Trip to LACMA

Yes I am one of those people who gets very excited when there is a new exhibit at the museum. Even with my LACMA membership this was my first visit this year.
This trip allowed me to experience monsters and visit a friend. I was surprised to see the amount of construction going on and the Rain Room was closed so maybe next time. Guillermo Del Toro's Monsters made me want to watch Pan's Labyrinth, Boris Karloff's Frankenstein, or Peter Cushing pursuing Christopher Lee's Dracula. I always visit the Japanese pavilion with it concentric circles and wrapped the morning with a light brunch before heading back down the road.
Here are a few pictures and a short welcoming video. Enjoy!
