If you drive down MacArthur Blvd and as you crest the hill, on a clear day you can see Catalina. To your right is the Newport Beach Civic Center and Park. What you can't miss are the large plaster bunnies huddled in a circle. I have driven past the park as it was being constructed and quiet frankly thought the bunnies were a little strange (we are all allowed to have our own opinion), that being said on Day 3 of my Staycation it was time to finally explore this bunny haven.
The park is a whimsical combination of art work crafted from recycled parts and a journey through California's eco-system.
Take a walk through the blue steel tunnel. Enjoy!
